(English Version) - Adobe Photoshop CC: XML Parsing Error: not well formed - How to solve

Hello!

After a long time I will post this help for those who have Adobe Photoshop installed and are receiving an error message after finishing the program:

XML Parsing Error: 'no well formed (invalid token) at line 1 of config.xml'

This happened to me in the latest versions of Photoshop (until 2020), and only after installing the Google NikSoftware Colection plugins. (Nik Plugins).
It happened using both Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 (both Pro version).

Here is the solution, for Windows:

Open the Windows Run (Window key + R) and copy and paste this line:
%LocalAppData%\Google\Color Efex Pro 4
Then hit enter.
Look for the "Favorites" folder and delete it.

Ready. It is already functioning normally. In this case, closing normally. Haha

If you use other versions of the Nik suite and it is showing this problem, just open the %LocalAppData% folder and look for the Nik instalation folder or Color Efex Pro and delete the "Favorites" folder in it.

For Mac, it should be something similar. Search for the Nik configuration folder for your user, and delete de "Favorites" folder under Color Efex Pro folder.

Olá!

Depois de muito tempo vou postar essa ajuda para quem tem o Adobe Photoshop Instalado e está recebendo uma mensagem de erro após finalizar o programa:

XML Parsing Error: 'no well formed (invalid token) at line 1 of config.xml'

Isso aconteceu comigo nas versões mais recentes do Photoshop (até 2020), e somente após a instalação dos plugins Google NikSoftware Colection. (Nik Plugins).
Aconteceu utilizando tanto Windows 10 quanto Windows 8.1 (ambos versão Pro).

Aqui está a solução, para Windows:
Abra o executar do Windows (Windows + R) e copie e cole essa linha:
%LocalAppData%\Google\Color Efex Pro 4 
Depois tecle enter.
Procure pela pasta "Favorites" e a exclua.

Pronto. Já está funcionando normalmente. No caso, encerrando normalmente. Haha

Se você utiliza outra versão da suite Nik e está apresentando esse problema, abra somente a pasta %LocalAppData% e procure pela pasta de instalação da Nik, ou por Color Efex Pro e delete a pasta "Favorites" nela.

Se for um Mac, a solução deve ser similar. Procure pela pasta da Nik dentro da pasta do seu usuário ou pela pasta de preferências do plugin Color Efex Pro e delete o "Favorites" dela.
